Hello, Family of Faith,

It is with a sad heart that I share with you the following decisions made by the leadership of our congregation. They were not easy decisions. I stand with our leadership in making them. Due to a dramatic increase in COVID cases in our community and the closing of the Hermosa School for several days, we have cancelled Trunk or Treat which was scheduled to be held in our parking lot on Saturday evening. A HUGE thank you to all those that had called and planned on participating with their trunks this year.

We are also postponing gathering in person in the building for worship from this Sunday to November 22 at this time. If this date changes, we will let you know. We will continue to worship online with livestreaming now being offered on Facebook and on our YouTube channel. The service will be available on our website by Sunday afternoon. Please share this information with others and invite others to join us in online worship on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. Gracious God, We come to you with heavy hearts as difficult decisions again need to be made in the midst of a pandemic. Thank you for our leaders, God, who have spent time in prayer and conversation looking for guidance as they do what they feel is best of our congregation and community. Be with the community as we continue to live life to the fullest but keeping the safety of others and ourselves in mind. Be with those who are sick that they may be healed. Grant us all courage and patience as we wait for the day when COVID numbers decline and reach 0. Amen.
