Featured Friday Christian Artist: Micah Tyler
Micah Tyler is a singer/songwriter/worship leader from Buna, TX. During the summer of 2012, Micah was named “National Male Vocalist of the Year” by the Gospel Music Association at the Immerse Conference. On October 8th, 2013 he released his first full length solo record, “The Story I Tell” to iTunes and it debuted at #3 on the Christian/Gospel charts and #93 on the overall iTunes charts. His latest independent release, “The Kitchen Sink EP”, is a collection of Southern-Soulful horn-laced songs and the heart moving, “Wretch No More” debut at #2 on iTunes October 7, 2014.
Having served in staff ministry for almost a decade, Micah has a true love and respect for the local church but also wants to make Gospel-centered music that has a style to attract the unchurched as well. With his “Southern Soul” grooves and melodies, Micah’s music is growing a fan base of young and old alike.
