Lenten Service: The Miraculous Faith of the Roman Soldier
“When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, ‘Truly this was the Son of God!'” Matthew 27:54
During our Wednesday night Lenten services, we have been turning our attention to the miracles of the Passion; the three hours of darkness, the tearing of the temple curtain, the earthquake, the splitting rocks, the raising of many of the saints from death.
This evening, at 7:15 pm at Our Savior’s Lutheran, we will direct our attention to the miraculous faith of the Roman soldiers. Come join us and explore more of the Lenten story.
