I wonder what the original disciples might have thought about this statement as they sat with Jesus and listened to him teach. As we continue digging deeper into Matthew 5 learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus, I wonder how Jesus’ disciples today, including those at OSL, might hear this statement today.
