Oh my goodness!!! What a wonderful night at trunk or treat! 150 hot dog…gone. 150 bags of chips….gone. 150+ bottles of water….gone! 52 glow necklaces….gone. Pounds and pounds of candy…..gone! So many smiling faces and lots of great conversations will forever be burned in our memories. Praise the Lord for a wonderful night! A huge thank you to the Outreach Committee and others for all of their work tonight. A huge thank you to all the “trunks” who showed up …from all over the community to be a part of this event. A huge thank you to the kids of all ages who came tonight to be a part of this event. Thank you to Thrivent Financial for the Community Action Card. All of you helped to make this evening a success. I am truly overwhelmed with gratitude once again. Plans are already underway for next year. Hope to see you there!
