The Missions Committee has been working extra hard this past week, buying and packaging supplies that were purchased or donated for October’s Mission of the Month.

Six boxes were jammed packed full of goodies and consumables to send to military personnel currently deployed.  They will be able to share the yummy treats with their units.

The rest of the supplies went to the Cornerstone Rescue Mission, to help the Homeless Veterans Ministry. Shower kits and favorites, such as coffee, and handmade cards made by the D.O.G. (Disciples of God) children were delivered.

With Veteran’s Day coming this weekend, this is just one way we can thank them all for their service as we continue to pray for them.  Thank you to everyone who so generously gave/donated so we could make this such a success. And thank you to our Missions Committee for all your hard work and dedication.
