The Annual Meeting of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church was held on Sunday, January 24h following worship service. Emily Dirkes, Marie Kennedy, and Butch Rudd were elected to fill the three vacated Church Council positions. Wyone Leonard was elected as the alternate. After the meeting the new council elected the following officers for 2016: Jack Corr will serve as President. Greg Neugebauer will serve as Vice-President. Adare Diers will serve as Secretary. Marvin Bishop accepted the appointment of Treasurer. Other members include: Emily Dirkes, Marie Kennedy, and Butch Rudd. Wyone Leonard will serve as alternate.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
On Sunday, January 24th we welcomed Lisa Cordell, Dennis Beighley and Christine Wolcott as our newest members to our church family. Also joining them up front was Larry and Marlene Dickschat, Scott, Emily, Cody and Mason Dirkes who became members in May, but were unable to attend the welcome service. We are so honored to have these new members of Our Savior’s Lutheran.

Lenten Services will continue Wednesday evenings at 7:15 through March 16. Palm Sunday follows on March 20. Holy Week is March 21-26 with Maundy Thursday on March 24 and Good Friday on March 25. Easter Sunday Services will be March 27. More details on service times will be published in next month’s newsletter.

D.O.G. (Disciples of God) Night
Wednesdays, beginning with supper at 5:30pm and ending at 7pm. Our curriculum this year is called “Living Inside Out” Where Kids Dare to Live Their Faith 24/7. The theme for February is: Balloon Fest Focus will be on Holy Spirit.

Calling all 7th – 12th Graders!
What: Fellowship and Ice Skating
Where: Main Street Square Ice Rink
When: Sunday, February 21st. Meet at the church at 2:00 pm and head to Rapid Return time – ??
Cost: Tickets for skate rental and skating have been donated. Bring along money for treats and/or supper if needed.
